Description:
The 31' Bertram Bahia Mar is an American classic built for fishing and arguably one of the most famous boat designs ever built. Perhaps the best features of the 31 are it's low center of gravity, large cockpit, deep-V hull and hard chine, all of which makes this boat one of the best fishing platforms on the water today. It's design focused on the essentials of fishing, with creature comforts a secondary consideration which makes the 31 an excellent dive boat as well.
It is reported that approximately 90% of the 2,000 Bertram 31's manufactured are still in use and catching fish at this time. This statistic is a testimony to the Ray Hunt design and the building quality of Richard Bertram that this boat still achieves a near cult status among seasoned captains and sport fisherman alike.
